What a blessing it has been to help families in our great city find and sell homes! This is my very first blog and I wanted to write about the importance of the very first step as a buyer in today’s market. Selecting the right lender!!! Think of this step as laying the foundation for the amazing structure that is going to be the walls that will surround all of the memories and good times that are to come in your home sweet home! You want to make sure you select a lender that is knowledgeable in the different programs that are available to you, that has your best interest at heart when determining financially where you want to be, will take your call late at night or on a weekend because you are just as important to them as they are to you! You also want to make sure that your lender and realtor have a good relationship, these two will be your extended family during this entire process and it is so important that the communication is open and honest! I have found that so many people are putting their dreams of owning a home on hold because they think that meeting with a lender is scary or intimidating….I promise you I can recommend some great ones and it won’t be painful at all! Sure, you have to provide the information for them but it truly is a joint effort! One of my favorite sayings is “Teamwork makes the Dreamwork” and it so true!
If you have ever wondered if you could be a homeowner and are maybe a little fed up with paying rent then let’s talk! Educating yourself on what your options are is the best way to make the best decision for you and your family!
A quote to live by: “Anything worth doing, is worth doing right the first time.”
